Hi everyone!
Its August 26th and the training for the Costa Rica challenge is starting to get into swing. I started on my first day not being able to run 1km without collapsing (yes I know... bad!) but now, having forced myself to go running most mornings over the summer, I can now run 10km without problems and feel that I at least am starting the proper training from a decent basis. The idea is to build up both lower and upper body strength to deal with the different challenges: the biking and hiking versus the rafting and kayaking. I also need to find a way to prepare for the humidity and for the altitude ( we are going up to about 2ooo m I think)... any suggestions?!
